Garage Door Won’t Open
There are many potential explanations as to why a garage door won’t open when you trigger the normal mechanism. It could be that the electronic openers have broken down. In this case you will need to check the wiring and make the necessary changes. Alternatively, it could be that there is a piece of debris that is stuck in one of the operating mechanisms. The proper response in this case is to remove the offending debris and then continue using the doors as normal. In addition, an excess of dust or rust can lead to difficulties in opening. Make sure that the metallic parts have the right type of lubrication and that they are regularly moved. Typically property owners will forget to de-activate the vacation mode which leads to non-responsiveness until you return to the normal mode. On the other hand older batteries can begin to fail particularly with repeated use. Simply replace them.
